Hungarian foreign minister expected to arrive in Kyiv this week Bodnar

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto is expected to visit Kyiv this week.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vasyl Bodnar said this in an interview with Ukrinform, commenting on Szijjarto's participation in the Victory Day Parade in Moscow, announced earlier by the Russian media outlets.

'If we analyze the policy of Hungary towards Russia, their dialogue has always been maintained. Of course, Budapest has the right to decide with whom and at what level to maintain contact. But we look forward to a balanced approach. Moreover, we hope that Peter Szijjarto will come to Ukraine, and we will see him in Kyiv next week [the interview was recorded on June 19], so the balance will be observed, Bodnar said.

As reported, on May 29, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba paid a working visit to Hungary, where he met with his Hungarian counterpart Peter Szijjarto.
