Mauritania: 6 new COVID-19 deaths, 192 infections


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RABAT, June 20 (KUNA) -- Mauritanian authorities announced on Saturday that the novel coronavirus related fatalities in the country have jumped by six in the past 24 hours to 108.
The director of public health Sidi Ould Alzehav, in a statement carried by Mauritanian news agency, said that the cases' count of coronavirus infections climbed to 2,814 after recording the new cases.
He pointed out that 43 COVID-19 patients have defeated it, taking the number to 696 recoveries. (end)
