Arab standardization cmte holds meeting


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RABAT, June 18 (KUNA) -- The Higher Advisory Committee for Arab Standardization Bodies on Thursday adopted 61 standards along with a guide for Arab technical regulations for product categories, ensuring that safety standards for products in the Arab region are met.
The committeeآ's Director-General Adel Al-Saqer said the talks also reviewed a virtual e-platform, through which manufacturers may list their goods for trade with other Arab countries, urging companies to apply.
On this, he singled out food and medical supply manufacturers. (end)
