Mauritania: new three COVID-19 deaths, 58 infections


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RABAT, June 1 (KUNA) -- Mauritanian authorities announced on Monday that novel coronavirus related fatalities have jumped by three in the past 24 hours to 58.
The director of public health Sidi Ould Alzehav said in a statement to the Mauritanian news agency, that the cases' count of coronavirus infections climbed to 588 after recording 58 new cases.
Twenty-six Mauritanian COVID-19 patients have lost their lives for the virus and 36 others have defeated it and recovered. (end)
