Saudi- UAE delegate to UN: kingdom's organization of Donors' Conference confirms leadership, humanitarian role to alleviate Yemeni suffering


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) New York, June 01, 2020, SPA -- Permanent delegate of the United Arab Emirates to the United Nations, Ambassador Lana Nusseibeh, affirmed that the virtual donor conference for Yemen 2020, organized by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in partnership with the United Nations, comes within the framework of the kingdom's approach to mobilize international humanitarian and development assistance to Yemen and its brotherly people.
She indicated in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency that the conference reflects the pioneering role of the Kingdom in lifting the human suffering of the brothers in Yemen, stressing at the same time that the UAE stands beside the kingdom in the efforts it is making to help brotherly Yemen to achieve prosperity, lift the suffering of its brotherly people, and fulfill all its hopes and aspirations for a better future.
Ambassador Nusseibeh said, "The UAE supports all initiatives and efforts aimed at making this humanitarian conference a success, and in all international forums that support the development process in Yemen."
