Australian armed forces officially charged of war crimes in Afghanistan


(MENAFN) Australian Special military forces soldiers have been formally charged of committing war crimes as fighting in Afghanistan.

The Australian Defence Force (IGADF) accused them of breaking the laws of armed conflict in Afghanistan, and news Corp in Australia reported lately that numerous troops have conventional notices from Inspector-General of (IGADF).

Before four years the IGADF started an investigation into claims that Special Forces staffs were concerned in illegal murders in Afghanistan.

Angus Campbell, the Chief of the Defence Force noticed the advice beneficiary that the IGADF propose to make unfavorable findings against them, giving them quite a few weeks to oppose to the allegations before the report is handed in July.
