Turkey installs novel hospital used for Coronavirus patients in Istanbul


(MENAFN) On Friday May 29th Turkey installs a novel hospital particularly built for Coronavirus patients in the country's major Istanbul city.

Named after Feriha Oz a Turkish doctor who recently lost her life because of Coronavirus, the hospital was built in the Sancaktepe district on Istanbul Asian side.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated at the opening ceremony that the construction of the hospital with 1,008-bed capability was finished in 45 days with the labor of around 4,000 workforces, the hospital would provide the country's health tourism when the pandemic is over.

Turkey has been construction an extra hospital to be used for care for Coronavirus patients in Istanbul European side at the Ataturk airport area.
