Libya reports 13 more coronavirus cases

13 new confirmed coronavirus cases were reported in the southern city of Sabha, on Friday, May 29th, according to the National Center of Disease Control of Libya.

As the information released by the center, 423 coronavirus tests were conducted, with 410 of them testing negative and 13 positives in Libyan Sabha, increasing the total number of cases to 118, including 41 recovered patients and five patients died.

As a result of the increasing number of infections in Sabha and in order to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, the UN-backed government made a decision of prohibiting the entry and exit from the city and obliges a 24-hour curfew starting from Thursday, May 28th and for seven days.

Closing the country's borderlines, mosques, and schools have been dictated by the Libyan government in combating the virus.
