(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, May 29 (KUNA) -- Austria Friday said 20 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) bringing total count of contaminations with the invisible pathogen to 16,564 including 15,347 recoveries.
Austrian Ministry of Health said in an online statement no deaths were registered in past 24 hours, thus the whole count of people who lost their lives to the bug stood at 668.
It added that 434,302 tests for the virus were conducted in various Austrian regions.
Currently, there are 103 patients at hospitals and 25 in intensive care wards.
Austria has allowed reopening of shops and public parks but people are advised to wear masks and observe social distancing. (end)
