31 more coronavirus infections detected in Senegal

The Health and Social Action Ministry of Senegal said that 31 more patients have been diagnosed with coronavirus on Tuesday, which has increased the total number of COVID-19 cases across the country to 3,161.

31 out of the 551 conducted coronavirus tests in the earlier 24 hours came back positive, according to Abdoulaye Diouf Sarr, the health minister of the country.

He added that the cases included 28 follow up contact cases and three who have been infected locally.

The official also said that 50 more patients have recovered from the disease, which has increased the total number of recoveries to 1,565.
