Ghana registers 153 new COVID-19 cases


(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Ghana Health Service (GHS) affirmed the existence of 153 new coronavirus cases, increasing the overall number of people tested positive for the virus in the nation to 7,117.

As many as 220 cases have made a full recovery, taking the total number of cured patients to 2,317, while the as many as two cases were passed away, pushing the death toll in the nation to 34, according to GHS.

It is worth mentioning that Ghana"s government imposed several measures to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus.
