(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, May 26 (KUNA) -- Austria declared on Tuesday recording a couple of deaths and 17 infection cases from the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), rising counts to 643 and 16,476 respectively.
Among total infected patients, 15,182 were pronounced cured of the infectious disease, Austrian Ministry of Health said in a statement.
It revealed that 411,185 swab tests for COVID-19 were conducted in various Austrian regions, adding that 127 patients remained at hospitals, including 32 in intensive care units.
Austria has resumed activities in various sectors following a month-long lockdown. People are advised to stay apart and wear medical masks to prevent virus transmission. (end)
