(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) ADEN, May 26 (KUNA) -- Yemen on Tuesday reported five deaths and 16 new coronavirus cases in three governorates.
The national committee tasked with confronting the virus said in a statement 10 caes were registered in Hadhramawt, four in Taez and two in Abyan.
All five deaths were registered in the eastern Hadhramawt governorate.
The committee said total infections in government-controlled areas since April 10 rose to 249, deaths to 49 and recoveries stood at 10. (end)
