Iran confirms 95 coronavirus deaths, 1,869 cases


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) TEHRAN, May 23 (KUNA) -- The Iranian Ministry of Health said Saturday that 1,869 more people tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) and 95 others died from the virus in the past 24 hours.
The figures took the death toll to 7,359 and the infections to 133,521, head of the Ministry's press center Kianoush Jahanpour told reporters, noting that the recoveries topped 102,276. (end)
