Sri Lanka- Gampaha Chief Magistrate determines quarantine curfew legal


(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) The Gampaha Chief Magistrate has determined that the quarantine curfew currently in force, is legal.

Senior Deputy Inspector General Ajith Rohana said that the court determination was given today.

He said the Magistrate had determined that the curfew imposed by the Police to contain the spread of the coronavirus on the directives of the Director-General of Health Services, is legal. (Colombo Gazette)
