First phase of repatriation for Jordanians abroad concludes - says military official


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, May 8 (Petra)-- A total of 16 flights carrying 2940 Jordanians arrived at the Queen Alia International Airport by Friday morning, Brig. Gen. Khaled Shantir, head of the airport's security and protection department said.
Today's three flights carried Jordanians who were stranded abroad during the COVID-19 crisis, Shantir added.
Shantir said that these 16 flights represent the first evacuation phase, noting that the next phases will be announced later.
