5 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Yemen


(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Yemen affirmed the existence of five new coronavirus cases in the country's southern port city of Aden.

A statement posted on Twitter by Yemen's supreme national emergency committee for COVID-19 affirmed that as many as five new positive cases were recorded in Aden.

More detailed information will be revealed during a forthcoming press conference, the government's committee based in Aden stated.

On April 10, Yemen's supreme national emergency committee declared that a 60-year-old Yemeni man, who worked in Ash Shihr, was diagnosed with the coronavirus.
