Jordan- Energy ministry re-opens all petrol stations across Kingdom


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, April 23 (Petra) -- All petrol stations across the Kingdom are allowed to operate, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Hala Zawati announced Thursday, as part of the government's measures aimed at gradually return to economic activity.
In a statement, Zawati said the decision of work resumption at petrol stations comes to revive the sector that employs thousands of workers nationwide.
"Workers are pledged to adopt public safety and health procedures imposed by the coronavirus crisis in order to preserve the health of citizens," the minister added.
On March 18th, the Energy Ministry gradually allowed work resumption at 45 petrol stations, all the way to re-opening all stations across the Kingdom.
