20 coronavirus cases die in Algeria


(MENAFN) On Tuesday, health officials emphasized that at least 20 coronavirus cases were passed away over the past day, and stated that existence of 45 new coronavirus cases in the country.

Head of COVID-19 Detection and Follow-up Commission, Djamel Fourar, informed reporters that the death toll due to the coronavirus in the nation reached 193 with the new 20 deaths registered over the past day.

He highlighted that the most of the deaths occurred in capital Algiers with 44 cases, followed by Blida province with 42, while the rest have been confirmed in several nine provinces.

Fourar stated that the number of the infected people in the country reached 1,486, 113 of them were successfully recovered and left hospital until now.
