COVID-19 cases in Oman jump to 298


(MENAFN) On Sunday, the Omani Ministry of Health affirmed the existence of 21 new coronavirus cases in the nation in addition to two deaths, increasing the total number of infected people in the country to 298.

According to a ministry statement, all the new cases are Omani nationals who caught the infection as a result of contacting with previously cases.

The statement highlighted that as many as 61 coronavirus cases were successfully recovered.

It is worth mentioning that most of coronavirus cases are focused in Muscat which includes 226 cases until now, according to the official Twitter of the Omani government.
