Djibouti sees 59 coronavirus cases

Ministry of Health (MoH) of Djibouti said on Sunday that the total number of coronavirus cases in the country has increased to 59.

The number of patients has increased 8 who have been diagnosed with the disease on Sunday.

Djiboutian health minister Salah Banoita Tourab said that"We conducted medical tests on 252 people in the last 24 hours, with eight people testing positive for COVID-19".

Adding that "We declare nine people who tested positive for COVID-19 and were hospitalized have recovered".

The country has reported the first coronavirus case on the 18th of March.
