Yemen's gov't forces kill 25 Houthi rebels in Marib


(MENAFN) On Saturday, Yemen's government forces stated that as many as 25 Houthi rebels were murdered as a result of an armed attack conducted in the nation's northeastern province of Marib.

The state-run Saba News Agency reported that the government forces lured groups of the Houthi militants into an armed ambush located in Sirwah district in the western part of Marib.

The report showed, "The ambush resulted in the killing of more than 25 members of the Houthi rebels and wounding several others while the rest of them escaped under the army's strikes."

It highlighted that Saudi-led coalition fighter jets launched airstrikes aganst several Houthi locations and reinforcements in many parts of the Sirwah front, resulting in complete damage to some of their fighting vehicles.
