Total coronavirus patients in Ethiopia increase to 35

The Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) of Ethiopia said on Friday that six more coronavirus cases have been confrimed in the country, which increased the total number of patients with the disease in Ethiopia to 35.

A statement released by the Federal Ministry of Health said that "Ethiopia conducted 74 laboratory tests in the last 24 hours and six cases were confirmed for COVID-19, making the total cases 35".

It added that the entire six new cases are Ethiopian naitonals, five of them are residents of the capital Addis Ababa, and the sixth is Dire Dawa city resident.

The six patients are five males and one female, they are between 28 and 56 years of age, the statement released by the Federal Ministry of Health said.
