Kuwait- Norway, the Netherlands report deaths, infections from coronavirus


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, April 1 (KUNA) -- Norway and the Netherlands updated, Wednesday, their coronavirus deaths and infections in the last 24 hours.
In Norway, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health announced that four more patients have died in the last 24-hours, raising the toll to 32 people who have died in Norway from the Coronavirus.
Up to 221 new cases were reported, raising the total to 4,655 people with confirmed COVID-19 in Norway, it said in a statement.
Meanwhile, the death toll from the coronavirus has increased by 134 in the Netherlands, reaching 1,173 deaths, according to figures released by the Dutch National Institute for Public Health and the Environment.
These deaths have occurred in recent days, but have been reported in the past 24 hours, it noted in a statement. The number of newly reported infections is 1,019.
In total, there are now 13,614 cases of infection known in the Netherlands. (end)
