Kuwait oil price drops USD 1.93 to settle at USD 24.33 a barrel


(MENAFN) According to Kuwait Petroleum Corporation, in comparison with USD 26.26 last Friday, Kuwait oil price decreased USD1.93 to stand at USD24.33 for each barrel on Monday.


In global markets, crude oil prices jumped at least 20 percent after main decrease in demand over the COVID-19 pandemic.


The West Texas Intermediate dropped USD1.42, arriving at USD22.09 for each barrel; the lowest since February 2002, while the Brent contracts fell USD 2.17 to reach USD33.76 for each barrel; the lowest since November 2002.
