Qatar- Kahramaa disinfects facilities to curb spread of COVID-19


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has disinfected its official facilities and other buildings following the precautionary and preventive measures to curb the spread of COVID-19.
This comes as part of its social responsibility and its dedication to provide a healthy and safe work environment for its employees and customers, Kahramaa has tweeted.
Kahramaa is also conducting an awareness campaign through its social media platforms to disseminate information about the virus and means of preventing it. Kahramaa published guidelines, which were approved by the Ministry of Public Health and the World Health Organization, to reduce the transmission of virus  This comes within the framework of its social responsibility and its dedication to contribute to disease prevention and help community members maintain their health and meet health challenges.
These measures come within the framework of Kahramaa's keenness to follow and apply the highest health, safety and security standards in all its premises, activities and operations.
The corporation said that it is committed to ensuring a safe and healthy work environment. Kahramaa believes in the importance of applying health and safety standards and programmes in day-to-day activities in all locations to provide a safe, healthy and safe working environment for all employees and clients. Kahramaa has a proven track record in the field of health and safety. During the past year, it completed about 40 million working hours without occupational diseases, including 33.7 million working hours in Kahramaa projects and 6.1 million working hours in services and tasks in the workplace.
