(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, March 22 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah received on Sunday, the Head the National Union of Kuwaiti Students (NUKS), Eng. Falah Al-Ajmi.
During the meeting, Sheikh Ahmad affirmed the importance that the ministry attaches to the contribution of students unions abroad in spreading awareness to the Kuwaiti students regarding the repercussions of the outbreak of coronavirus (Covid-19), said the ministry in a press statement.
The foreign minister praised the efforts made by the Union and its contribution in supporting Kuwaiti unions abroad, urging the importance of their cooperation with Kuwaiti diplomatic missions in spreading awareness towards adherence to the instructions issued by the state regarding this health crisis.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Consular Affairs Minister Plenipotentiary Sami Al-Hamad, Deputy Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Minister of Foreign Affairs Office Adviser Ahmad Al-Shuraim and a number of senior officials in the ministry. (end)
