Provincial government of Afghanistan said on Wednesday that a total of 13 Taliban insurgents have died and 8 others were injured in security indicents in Helmand province of Afghanistan.
A statement released by the government said that a group of Taliban activists have launched an attack on a security checkpoint in the distrcit of Nad Ali on Tuesday which has resulted in 8 of them killed and five others injured.
Another clash that took place between the militants and security forces Jahanzib camp in the district of Nahrj Sarraj has resulted in the death of 3 insurgents and left 3 others with injured.
In another incident that took place in Garmser district, two armed Taliban activists have died as they attempted to plant a roadside bomb targgeting a security forces' convoy in Atum Darab area.
