Doha: Due to the current public health scenario in Qatar, WOQOD will provide free WOQODe tags to all individual customers to avoid using cash and card transactions between the customer and the fuel attendant.
'The move is to maintain the safety and health of everyone as per the direction and guidance of the Ministry of Public Health in the State of Qatar, a company statement said.
The tags are prepaid microchip fixed near the fuel tank opening.
To avail the free tags, a valid copy of the Qatari ID and the Istimarah are required. Customers can avail the free tags from 17 March 2020 until 17 June 2020.
