(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) issued yesterday a circular preventing restaurants and cafes in the country from serving food, banning customers from sitting inside or holding any gatherings starting Monday until further notice.
The decision was made as part of the precautionary measures against the spread of the coronavirus. The circular made an exception to home delivery and take out orders. The ministry called on everybody to follow the instructions in the circular, noting that those who violate it will be held legally accountable.
