Vectron Systems AG: Bulk order from Wiener Feinbäckerei Heberer for POS systems and digital services

Münster, 9 March 2020: Vectron Systems AG (Vectron), a leading provider of intelligent POS systems consisting of hardware, software and cloud services, with focus on the catering and bakery trade, has received the order to equip 175 subsidiaries of the Wiener Feinbäckerei Heberer (Heberer) with 300 state-of-the-art touch POS systems. In addition to the POS systems, Vectron will also equip all the subsidiaries step by step with a card terminal so that all payment functions such as girocard and credit cards can be displayed. This transaction is of strategic importance for Vectron, as it is the first time that Vectron POS systems including payment functions and other additional digital services will be sold as a bundle on a larger scale.

The Heberer Company, founded in 1891, is one of the largest chain stores in the German bakery market. They have used Vectron POS systems already since 2007. With the new order placement, the long-standing cooperation will be continued.

The low maintenance requirements, the reliable support and the comprehensive range of digital services, which also meets the requirements of Heberer that have increased over the years, were the deciding factors. Installation of the new POS systems including graphical customer displays will start in April. At the same time, digital services in the fields of automatic software updates, online fiscal archive, reporting app, e-payment (EC and credit cards) and Vectron's new digital receipt solution will be introduced at Heberer's. At a later date, the installation is to be completed by Vectron's customer retention tool bonVito. The order volume is just below the million mark, plus monthly fees for the digital services.
