Official news agency said on Saturday that authorities in Morocco have apprehended 47 illegal migrants in the white beach that falls in the southern Agadir city.
The agency said that the migrants, six women and an infant among them, were all from sub-Saharan Africa
They were apprehended on Friday as they were attempting to travel in a boat to Spain's Canary Islands in the Atlantic.
62 human trafficking networks were discovered in 2019 and 505 people associated with human trafficking and migrant smuggling were apprehended in the country.
A total of 27,317 illegal immigrants were arrested in 2019, according to the police in Morocco.
