Dozens of Palestinians injured in clashes with Israeli forces in West Bank


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RAMALLAH, Feb 28 (KUNA) -- Dozens of Palestinians were injured in confrontations with Israeli occupation forces in the West Bank on Friday.
In a statement, Palestinian Red Crescent Society said 134 Palestinians were injured in confrontations in Baita village, south of Nablus.
The statement added one Palestinian youth was hit with a live bullet targeting his back, while 53 other Palestinians were injured from rubber bullets.
Palestinians were protesting a group Israeli settlers at Al-Arma mountain, an area the Israeli occupation plans for confiscates.
Thirty-seven Palestinians were injured in clashes in Al-Fawar refugee camp in Al-Khalil city.
Meanwhile, in Kafr Qadoum, north of the West Bank, 30 Palestinian youths were injured during clashes with Israeli occupation forces. (end)
