(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Feb. 28 (Petra)-- Pleasant weather conditions are expected, on Friday, nationwide, while warm conditions are forecast in the Jordan Valley and the Dead Sea, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
Light north-westerly winds will prevail countrywide, the JMD added.
As for tomorrow, a cold air mass accompanied by a depression enveloped the Kingdom, leading to a drop in temperatures and bringing scattered showers in the northern and central parts of the Kingdom.
The highs today will reach 19 degrees Celsius in Amman, 20 in the northern region and 18 in the southern highlands, sliding down to 8, 9 and 8 respectively.
The weather will be warmer in the port city of Aqaba with highs reaching 26 degrees dropping down to 15 at night, the JMD noted.
