Bahrain evacuates nationals from Iran due to coronavirus


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) MANAMA, Feb 27 (KUNA) -- The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs started implementing an evacuation plan for its nationals in Iran amid the surge of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases across Iranian cities.
The plan includes preventive measures such as screening the arrivals and quarantine procedures, the Ministry said in a statement carried by Bahrain News Agency (BNA) on Thursday.
The Ministry called on all Bahraini citizens currently in Iran to register their details via the phone No. +97317227555.
It affirmed cooperation with relevant entities in the Kingdom to guarantee the safety of Bahraini citizens before their arrival in the Kingdom. (end)
