Qatar- Amir leaves Tunisia, heads to Algeria


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Tunis: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani left Tunis on Tuesday morning, after an official visit to the Republic of Tunisia, heading to the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria.

HH the Amir and his accompanied delegation were seen off upon departure at Tunis-Carthage International Airport by HE President of the Republic of Tunisia Kais Saied, Governor of Tunis City Shazli Boualak, Tunisia's Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Sabri Bash Tabaji, a number of high-ranking Tunisian officials, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Tunisia Saad bin Nasser Al Humaidi, HE Ambassador of the Republic of Tunisia to the State of Qatar Sami Al Saidi, and members of the Qatari Embassy in Tunisia.

HH the Amir sent a cable to HE the Tunisian President to express deep thanks and appreciation for the warm hospitality and honor accorded to him and the accompanying delegation during the visit, which provided HH the opportunity to meet HE, as well as exchange views on issues of common concern and means of strengthening and promoting the bilateral relations in various fields for the good and interests of the two peoples. HH the Amir also wished HE the President the best of health and happiness, and the brotherly people of Tunisia further progress and prosperity.
