(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Amman: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani arrived this evening at the capital Amman, on an official visit to the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
His Highness was received on his arrival at Queen Alia International Airport by his H M King Abdullah II Ibn Al-Hussein, King of Jordan, and H R H Prince Faisal Ibn Al-Hussein, Advisor to the King and Chairman of the National Policy Council, and H H Prince Ali Ibn Al-Hussein, President of the Jordan Football Association, and H H the Prince Hashem Ibn Al-Hussein, Chief Secretary of His Majesty the King, a number of His Royal Highness princes, Prime Minister Dr Omar Al Razzaz, H E Yousef Al-Issawi, Head of the Royal Hashemite Court, H E Ayman Ayman Al-Safadi, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Affairs, and the State of Faisal Al-Fayez The Senate, H E Atef Al-Tarawneh, Speaker of the House of Representatives, a number of His Excellencies the Ministers and senior Jordanian officials, civilians and military personnel, H E Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani, the Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Kingdom of Jordan, and H E Zaid Mufleh Al-Lawzi, the Kingdom's Ambassador to the State of Qatar , and members of the Qatari Embassy in Jordan.
A solemn reception ceremony was held at the airport, which included the firing of 21 artillery and the playing of the national anthems.
