Kuwait MoI attends Gulf drills in UAE


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DUBAI, Feb 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwait''s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anas Al-Saleh attended Thursday the Gulf security drills, dubbed "Arab Gulf Security 2", held in the UAE.
The drills aimed at bolstering coordination and cooperation amongst GCC security forces to maintain regional stability and peace. The drill also focused on boosting efforts against terrorism.
A Kuwaiti security forces, along with counterparts from the GCC, delivered a demonstration during the event simulating a terror attack.
This is the second drill of its kind with the first held in Bahrain in 2016. (end)
