Qatari-Turkish military dialogue meeting concludes in Ankara


(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The second high-level Qatari-Turkish military dialogue meeting concluded in Ankara yesterday.
The delegation of Qatar to the meeting was chaired by HE the Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Lieutenant-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem, while the Turkish side was chaired by Chief of the General Staff of Turkey General Yasar Guler.
The meeting discussed a number of issues related to the military co-operation between the two sides and ways of promoting and enhancing them.
The meeting was attended by Qatar''s ambassador to Turkey Salem Mubarak al-Shafi, Qatari military attache to Turkey Brigadier General Mohamed bin Rashid al-Shahwani, and a number of officials of the Qatari Armed Forces.
On the sidelines of the meeting, HE Lt-General (Pilot) Ghanem bin Shaheen al-Ghanem met with Minister of National Defence of Turkey Hulusi Akar.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed a number of issues related to the military co-operation between the two brotherly countries and means of developing them.
