Generation Amazing's Marketing & Communications Director, Moza Al Mohannadi said: 'We're thrilled to have Tim Cahill joining our team as an ambassador and doing his part to motivate the children in the Generation Amazing programme, something he is obviously very passionate about. Cahill said he was excited to be embarking on a new journey with Generation Amazing.

'I am very excited about being involved with Generation Amazing and inspiring kids to follow their dreams. I'm inspired by the work Generation Amazing is doing in Qatar and around the world.

Meanwhile, on Qatar National Sports Day, Generation Amazing hosted football for development activities for staff and the public at the newly opened Al Bayt Sports Park, in the precinct of Al Bayt Stadium which is set to host matches up to the semi-finals stage during Qatar 2022.
