(MENAFN) Data provided by Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) showed that, in comparison with January of 2019, Turkey's day-ahead spot electricity market's trade volume grew by 45.84 percent in January.
In comparison with 3.16 billion liras in January 2019, the trade volume in the day-ahead spot electricity market, which EXIST began to operate in 2015, recorded at 4.6 billion Turkish liras in January and in the day-ahead market in January EXIST reported a transaction of 14.48 million megawatt-hours.
On January 10, the maximum trade volume day by day was registered at 164.2 million liras, while the minimum happened on January 1 with 109.7 million liras and in the day-ahead spot market in January, the average electricity rate for one-megawatt hour was calculated as 314.61 liras.
