(MENAFN) As said in a report by the African Development Bank (AfDB), in 2020, Morocco's economy will develop at 3.7 percent.
The real GDP expansion in the North African country should reach 3.9 percent in 2021, as said in the report.
According to the report, in 2019, the budget deficit financed by the domestic market, decreased to 3.6 percent of GDP and will probably stand at 3.3 percent in 2021 because of better tax performance and spending control.
Treasury debt, expected at 65.3 percent of GDP in 2018, is expected to decrease to 65.1 percent in 2019 and to 63.1 percent in 2021, because of better GDP expansion; the bank expected that inflation should reach 1 percent in 2019-2021.
