(MENAFN) On Tuesday, as many as eleven people were murdered as a result of a fire that broke out in an inhabited building in the village of Prichulymsky in Russia's Tomsk region, local media reported.
The Emergencies Ministry was quoted as affirming in a statement, "At 07:03 Moscow time (0403 GMT), the body of an eleventh person was discovered".
The fire that erupted in the wooden building killed 11 people but two more fled the place and managed to survive.
The Emergencies Ministry stated that a probe was launched to investigate the reasons behind the incident.
