(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) A Buddhist monk was killed after being accidentally shot by Police in Hungama today, the Police said.
The Police had opened fire during a scuffle involving a motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist had failed to stop when ordered to do so by the Police.
A monk who was in the area at the time was accidentally shot at by the Police who had opened fire targeting the motorcyclist.
