A medic in the base said that a Houthi rebels ballistic missile attack on Saudi-led coalition military base in Marib province in Yemen has claimed the lives of 40 soldiers on Saturday.
The medic said that "The toll rose to 40. All the killed were Yemeni government soldiers," adding that many other soldiers were injured.
The attack took place as the soldiers were grouping in the main ground of the base at sunset.
The Houthis have not made any immediate comment on the attack.
