(MENAFN- Bangladesh Monitor) Dhaka: Shahjalal Islami Bank Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Anwer Khan Modern Hospital Ltd on January 16 at the Bank's Corporate Head Office. Under the agreement, debit and credit cardholders of SJIBL will receive up to 25 per cent discount at medical services from Anwer Khan Modern Hospital.
EMI facilities for different tenures such as 3-12 months at 0 per cent profit rate are also available for the cardholders of the Bank as per the deal.
Md Marufur Rahman Khan, SVP and Head of Card Division of SJIBL and Md Mofizullah Patwari, General Manager of Anwer Khan Modern Hospital Ltd signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
M Shahidul Islam, Managing Director and CEO of Shahjalal Islami Bank Ltd also attended the signing ceremony.
Abdul Aziz, S M Mainuddin Chowdhury, Additional Managing Directors, Md Shahjahan Shiraj, M Akhter Hossain, Mian Quamrul Hasan Chowdhury and Imtiaz U Ahmed, Deputy Managing Directors, Md Shamsuddoha, Head of Public Relations Division and Bank Foundation, Md Abul Bashar, Company Secretary, Md Jafar Sadeq, Chief Financial Officer, Mohammed Abu Shayem, SVP from Shahjalal Islami Bank and Dhiraz Chakma, General Manager of Anwer Khan Modern Hospital Ltd were also present on the occasion along with other high officials from both organisations.
