KUWAIT CITY, Jan 11: The Court of Cassation sentenced a Kuwaiti staff of Sheikh Sa'ad Al-Abdullah Terminal at Kuwait International Airport to four years in prison and KD 1,400 to suspend execution of the term over the allegation of facilitating escape of an Egyptian placed on travel ban in return for KD 700 bribe.

The Public Relations and Security Media Department at the Ministry of Interior stated that airport detectives arrested the 1985-born citizen who was working at the Immigration Office in the airport. He purportedly knew the suspect was on travel ban but assisted him to escape for monetary gain.
