Amman, Jan. 8 (Petra) -- More than 170 people on board a Ukraine International Airlines flight were killed early Wednesday when it crashed shortly after takeoff from Imam Khomeini Airport in Tehran, the Iranian press reported.
"The Boeing 737 crash was suspected to have been caused by technical issues," Fars news agency said.
