UAE-based telecom operator Etisalat on Sunday evening sent an SMS to all its subscribers, informing them about a new sender ID.
"Dear Customer, you will receive the Etisalat bill SMS from our new sender ID MY_ETISALAT. Thank you for choosing Etisalat," the company said in an SMS.
The message was sent via the sender ID etisalatINF, the ID via which the telco usually sends monthly bill details.
