(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Antalya: Speaker of the Shura Council, H E Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud, met with H E Speaker of Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Ali Larijani, on the sidelines of the second meeting of the Executive Council and 12th Plenary of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.
During the meeting, they reviewed the parliamentary cooperation relations between the State of Qatar and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and ways to enhance them. They also discussed the topics on the agenda of the second meeting of the Executive Council and the 12th Plenary of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.
H E Chairman of the Qatar-Asian Parliamentary Friendship Group, Rashid bin Hamad Al Meadadi, and several members of the Shura Council attended the meeting.
